logo High-Fired Stoneware Pottery, Including Dinnerware, Baking and Serving Pieces, and Decorative Items.

If you can't come to our brick & mortar gallery, we'll bring our gallery to you

(virtually speaking of course).

We do require real money to purchase our pottery. We accept the following non-virtual credit cards:

Please Note! Every piece is handcrafted by either Marty or me. Our handcrafted functional pottery is created from white stoneware, high-fired to 2350oF, in a reduction atmosphere. Our functional pottery is dishwasher, microwave and conventional oven safe. All of our high-fired glazes are food safe. The dimensions are approximate and the glazes will naturally vary from piece to piece.

Since we do make our pottery to order, please expect approximately an eight week lead time before your piece is shipped (unless we happen to already have that piece in stock or somewhere in production). If this is a problem, please contact us. We never charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship. The only exception is if you order by PayPal since they do real-time processing.

CLASSIC DINNERWARE
Bread Plate, Civil War Mug,    Coffee Mug, Dessert Bowl,    Dinner Plate, Goblet,    Pasta Bowl, Rice Bowl,    Salad Plate, Soup Bowl,     Soup Mug
It's really difficult to visualize the different sizes, so I stacked them so you can see the differences. Although I did stack them vertically, I would strongly advise that you serve food in them horizontally. The dinner plate is about 10.5" diameter. The middle plate is a salad plate and is 8" in diameter , while the bread plate in front is 5.5" They are all in our difficult Gold 'n Red (aka: Copper Red, Reduction Red, Sange de boeuf (that's French), and Oxblood (that's English). They're all the same glaze with many names.

Civil War Mug, more commonly called Confederate Mugs (7" H, Holds about 26 Oz.) During the Civil War, the mugs were made out of metal, but when the troops (mostly the Confederate Army) ran out of bullets, metal mugs were melted down to provide bullets. Southern potters graciously made mugs out of clay to support the troops. If you are from the South, "Save your Dixie cups, because the South may rise again" Or you can just purchase our lovely Confederate mugs. Shown in Gold 'n Red.

French Butter Crock keeps your un-refrigerated butter
soft and tasty. All you do is to pack butter (not margerine) in the top with the back of a spoon. Add a little water to the base (to just cover the top and voila, the butter is sealed from the air. Truth in advertising: Butter really doesn't have to be refrigerated, but this does keep it fresher and presents the butter nicely. The closed crock is in Spirit and the open in Pisgah Night.
